What does Oracle Test Pilot do?
Leveraging local GitHub Action runners, GitHub projects can run their Oracle technology-related GitHub Actions tests against the latest Oracle technology versions free of charge.
Is Oracle Test Pilot free?
Yes, if a community project is approved for Oracle Test Pilot usage, the usage of Oracle Test Pilot and available Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services is free of charge.
Who can use Oracle Test Pilot?
Only open-source community projects hosted on GitHub and using GitHub Actions workflows are currently supported. Commercial software or software hosted on other platforms is no eligible.
How can my project get registered?
The current registration is done upon nomination.
How does the onboarding process work?
The onboarding process consists of two phases:
- Review technical eligibility by analyzing the current GitHub Actions workflow(s)
- Proceed with Oracle Test Pilot onboarding by providing required OCI resources
Which Oracle technologies can I test with?
The following Oracle technologies can be used for your tests for free:
- Oracle Database via Base Database Cloud Service (19c, 21c, 23ai)
- Oracle Autonomous Database (23ai)
- Oracle GraalVM
